FSTD

Affordable and customized simulators

At Maestrale we are specialized in developing Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTDs) that are tailored to meet your individual training needs and fit your budget. From basic static devices that serve as introductory training tools to FFS advanced devices that replicate the full flight simulator experience for an affordable price.

We understand that each customer requirements are unique, and we work closely with our clients to design and manufacture solutions that meet their specific needs and budgets. Our team of experts is committed to providing high-quality simulators and training solutions that are designed to offer an immersive and effective training experience.

FNPT II

What is a FNPT Simulator?

FNPT stands for "Flight and Navigation Procedures Trainer." These simulators are designed to replicate the experience of flying a real helicopter in a variety of conditions and scenarios, including:

  • Basic and advanced flight training:
    • Training in takeoff and landing procedures
    • Navigation
    • Emergency procedures
    • Instrument flight rules (IFR) operations
    • Certified for IR-ME, MCC and PBN
  • Type rating training: It can be used for type rating training, which is required for pilots who wish to operate specific types of helicopters. Type rating training covers the technical aspects of a specific helicopter model, including its systems, controls, and procedures.
  • Recurrent training: Helicopter pilots are required to undergo recurrent training to maintain their proficiency and stay current with new regulations and procedures. The FNPT 2 helicopter simulator can be used for recurrent training, which may include emergency procedures, abnormal situations, and system failures.
  • Specific procedures and systems training: FNPT II simulators can be used to familiarize pilots with new helicopter types before they begin operating them in real-world scenarios.
  • Mission training

Additional options:

  • Easily upgradable to EASA FTD 2/3 or FAA FTD level 6/7
  • Additional vibration system
  • Virtual Mixed reality

FTD 2 & 3

  • Basic flight training: FTD 3 simulators can be used to train pilots in basic flight procedures, such as takeoff, landing, hovering, and basic flight maneuvers.
  • Advance flight training:
    • ATPL
    • MCC
    • Navigation
    • Emergency procedures
    • Instrument flight rules (IFR) operations
  • Type rating training: It can be used for type rating training, which is required for pilots who wish to operate specific types of helicopters. Type rating training covers the technical aspects of a specific helicopter model, including its systems, controls, and procedures.
  • Recurrent training: Helicopter pilots are required to undergo recurrent training to maintain their proficiency and stay current with new regulations and procedures. The FNPT 2 helicopter simulator can be used for recurrent training, which may include emergency procedures, abnormal situations, and system failures.
  • Evaluation and assessment:FTD 3 simulators can be used for the evaluation and assessment of pilot proficiency, including proficiency checks and competency evaluations.
  • Specific procedures and systems training: FTD 2 & 3 simulators can be used to familiarize pilots with new helicopter types before they begin operating them in real-world scenarios.
  • Mission training: SAR, HEMS, Fire Fighting
  • IR checks

FFS

FFS are high-fidelity simulators that provide a realistic flight experience, including motion and visual. FFS are designed to replicate the cockpit and operating environment. They typically feature a six-degrees-of-freedom motion system, which provides realistic motion cues to the pilot, and a visual system that includes a collimated display with a wide field of view. One of the most complex parts is the sophisticated flight model and software that must accurately replicate the performance and behavior of the aircraft being simulated is one of the fundamental parts of an FFS simulator, which allow advanced training scenarios, such as type rating and recurrent training, as well as for testing and development of new aircraft systems and procedures.
